Vintage Santa Paper Piecing

I love vintage!!!! I started out with the picture of the vintage Santa and went from there. It took a little while to finish this tag. I really had no idea after printing the picture what I was going to do with it. I kind of just pieced it together as I went a long. The silk flower was something I found in the bottom of a box I had in the garage that I just happened to go through. I took it to my work station and started to add ink to tone down the bright red color. Then inked some gold onto it to tie it all together.
