What are you thankful for? Giveaway - Closed!

What are you thankful for?
"GIVEAWAY"

As each day comes to us refreshed and anew, so does my gratitude renew itself daily. The breaking of the sun over the horizon is my grateful heart dawning upon a blessed world. ~Terri Guillemets

We often run through life racing to get to the next day. We forget to stop some times and be thankful for what we have. I am guilty of this at times. The last couple of months, I feel like I have been climbing a mountain that never stops. Along the way I never noticed that there were valleys that I could have stopped at. Life is about learning lessons and growing stronger with each one. I'm thankful that I found a path to which I could take a rest and reflect on what I have in my life. I'm so very thankful for my family and friends. I know without them I couldn't have made it this far. They inspire me to keep pushing the limits of all of this. Each smile I see on my children's face is a blessing. Their spirits are like angels playing in the clouds. My friend's shoulders are strong from me leaning on them but they enjoy the workout..LOL. I'm also thankful for the support that my followers and customers give me. I have made some wonderful friends along the way. I want to show my appreciation by giving away this flower spray.

But.....

There are few things you need to do when signing up for this giveaway.

1.) You must be a follower on my blog.

2.) You must leave a comment about what you are thankful for!

ok......let the giveaway begin!
Deadline to sign up is Saturday November 20th @ midnight EST

  2. Beautiful post & beautiful giveaway Anna!!!

I'm forever thankful for my loving husband. After going through a rocky 9 year relationship and very rough divorce, I finally found my soulmate when I least expected it. He has been one of my best friends since we were in elementary school and I never expected him to be that one man to give me everything that I ever needed, and that's love. I am so thankful for his support for me in everything that I do, he is always lifting me up when I am down. He is also a wonderful father to my daughter, even though she isn't his, he has never treated her any differently.

Thanks for posting this Anna! It makes us stop and think and realize everything that we have in life!

  3. Hi Anna!
I want to let you know that I'm grateful for each one of my days, but specially for Monday, November First 2010, that was the day when my father 90 years old pain was gone. He passed away without any pain at all after a long day, he just closed his eyes and go away from us. I miss him so much, but I'm grateful because I know that his pain is gone now.

Overall, I am most thankful for what God has blessed me with: His love and watch care and for the wonderful family He has given me. They mean more to me than anything. I could go on and on... :c) Gorgeous spray Anna, thanks so much for a chance to win.

  5. I agree, this is such a beautiful post. We all need to be reminded now and again about the good things in our lives, our Blessings. This happened to me recently and it made me realize how thankful I am for my 2 beautiful children and my beloved husband. As well as some dear friends that I have made through the internet...I realize that I am a very lucky lady and that these Blessings are what help me continue to climb my mountain.

  6. I love your post and wanted to let you know it’s not always the road traveled that gets us where we want to go in life. Sometimes it’s the stops along the way that defines us.

I’m also thankful for my family and friends. I have taken them for granted quite often but I know without them I would not be where I am today. I’ve recently contacted family members after many, many years of being out of touch. It’s been wonderful to reconnect. I’m also thankful for the family members who are no longer around as I believe they watch over me and guide me in life.

You are included in that list of family that I most cherish. Thank you for inspiring me and making me believe that I can do anything. I don’t tell you enough how much I love you and cherish you. I thought I would take a minute to do so. Remember even angels with broken wings can fly…..

  7. Hello Anna,

There are many things to be thankful for especially the small things from waking up and opening our eyes everyday to the beautiful day that God continues to bless us with. Life is not easy to live there are so many obstacles and wrong roads that we choose to take thinking that it is right or even knowing it is wrong we still do it. And what is great is knowing that we are still loved by God because as much that is taken away we are given back double. At times we feel so unworthy of all the blessings that we are given daily from family to friends to our beautiful children to our health those are big deals and we must NEVER forget where they come from.

  8. I am very thankful for the wonderful husband that I have & all the pain he has been through from an injury at work & had to have spine surgery, thanks goodness that he woke up & can walk. I was terrified of losing him. I am also thankful for all my wonderful friends new and old. I am also thankful for the wonderful talented women that I have met on your blog, Kindra's blog, my blog and all the wonderful members I was able to recruit to be on the MPTS forum HTCT. They give me incentive to move forward.

  11. This is just the perfect theme for this time of year. These are very difficult times for so many families and at this time of year, if we truly search our hearts, we will all find wonderful things to be thankful for. I did not have to search far to know what I am most grateful for. After a difficult summer recovering from a serious illness, I am grateful to be here with my wonderful husband and my beautiful little grandaughter, Amber. We are raising her now and while we did not plan to be raising a little girl at this time of our lives, sometimes God puts a little "bend" in our road and the journey is spent rediscovering what is truly important in life.

    beautiful spray !!!

    what im thankful for.... LIFE.
im alive today by a miracle.. was hit head on by a truck when i was young. left me almost dead, broken leg, piece of metal inbedded in my head, and in my eyelid. my a sheer miracle the metal in my head didnt kill me, although the DR. said if it had gone in 1 mm more id be dead. the metal in my eyelid didnt damage my eye either. recovery was long and hard.

anyways long story short...im thankful to be ALIVE. if i hadnt been saved that day i would never have met my soul mate and most wonderful husband, or my 3 beautiful children who are my life.
i thank God everyday for the blessing of life he gave me.
all the hardships and trails dont bother me so long as i have my little family !!

    thanks for the opp :D

  13. Thank you for the quote...My daughters fiancee' lost his younger brother this past week and they had a very beautiful but heartwrenching memorial for him. It makes me think that no matter what we think about time...we are not always guaranteed tomorrow. So we must make sure we say and do all that we need to today! I am thankful for that time...and my family! I thank God for his blessings on me!

  21. Good Morning, Anna! Thanks for the opportunity to win one of your amazing flowers. At 8:30am EST this morning I was laid off from my job after 4 years (almost to the day). In leaving my office I reminded myself that Im here. I have a wonderful family that supports me and I have wonderful friends that I know I can count on. Although this is going to be difficult for me, I know I will get through it. I am thankful for many things. I am thankful that I had the patience and the confidence to get up this morning, drive the 20 minutes to work and face what was going to happen this morning. I am thankful for the friends that called me this morning to tell me its going to be ok. I am thankful for the opportunities that may await me in other areas. Im thankful that Im me and nothing they did or said was going to change that.
Thanks again for the chance to win.

  28. your bouquets are stunningly beautiful thank you for sharing with your talented creations.

I am thank full every day I awake, with the support of my husband and daughter they can help me get through another day. I have suffered badly with depression for years now. My husband has been there when I haven't felt I had the strength to carry on. He has encouraged my love of crafting even tho I am not very good at it. He also provided me with a reason to get up in the mornings and start a new day. he gave me one of my most treasured dreams my horse. Even tho he has to work hard for us to keep, that dream going.
10 years ago I went to work and was threatened with my life over a few cans of beer. my world came tumbling down I could no longer leave my home due to fear. the depression set in and I could no longer function. I gave up on every thing. it was one blow after another and another. I felt could my life get any worse. My husband and daughter started to set about picking me up and helping me. John kept my mind off problems by encouraging me with card making. he bought me a horse, as this was my dream, and it would give me something I would have to get up for, as I had to leave the safety of my home to tend to her every day which made me gradually made me feel ok about going out the house. It liftes my heart every time I see my horse, it actually made me smile again.

  31. Hi Anna. What a beautiful quote. I am thankful for my family & friends. I wouldn't be the woman I am today without their love & support through the tough times. I am also VERY thankful for the "power of forgiveness". I am so guilty of for "lashing out" at people who "didnt deserve my grumpiness". So, with that I am HOPING that my family & friends(included in this are my online friends)that they will FORGIVE ME.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving to you and your entire family.

  35. Anna thanks for the opportunity to win one of your beautiful creations. Every time I see your flowers I'm just blown away how beautiful they are.

First, I'm thankful to be living and I'm thankful for my family and the beautiful friends that are in my life.

But, I'm most thankful for my 19 year old daughter. I couldn't have asked God for a better one. When I think about her and how she's such a beautiful person, I tear up.

She's the first girl in my family (3rd generation) that hasn't had a baby at 16 which seemed to be the magic number in my family. And, I'm so grateful to be the generation that saw this.

She's a freshmen in college and is doing great! I just can't wait to see what she does with her life.

    Everyone have a bless Thanksgiving.
