New energy coming to the blog.....

Good morning everyone,
I sit here this morning and I'm not sure where to start. I have so much to tell and share with you all that it is spinning my head. I will however let you know that my outlook on life has changed! I was a pessimistic person and found no true joy in anything I was doing. My personal life was in ruins and my Internet life (blog, facebook, ustream, etsy store and so on...) was getting out of control. I really hit rock bottom so much that I was starting to have chest pains.

Stress will do that to you. Stress will eat away at you until you are no longer able to handle it anymore. Things in my life seem to hand me major obstacles every time I turned around. I really felt that within a year I had too many deaths and too many family issues to deal with. It almost seemed there was nothing good in my life no matter where I turned.

I am learning now that life is what you make it. I really never believed that saying and I thought "Yea Right"! Well, I'm here today to tell you that the saying is so true and the first step to having a positive life is thinking that it is possible. I have so much to learn but I am now aware that I have so much to teach too! The first step towards this new life of mine is to give back! My goal is to have my blog help you motivate yourself to thinking "You Can Do This". I have seen so many people comment on my flowers and other projects and say they could never do that. NOPE...not with that attitude will you ever have a chance!  I not only want to teach you how to create these flowers but also show you how to unlock that hidden talent that is inside of you. Motivational Scrapping....... here we come!

I hope everyone has wonderful day and please check back, I have another blog posting I will do today to start our journey of unlocking your talent!

  1. Anna a few years ago I was right there with you, seemed like I was loosing a family memeber every few months and on top of my "home" life in a total uproar nothing ever seemed to go right for me. If it could go wrong it would. But I am very happy to say that I couldn't be more happier in life now if I tryed, (well crafting for a living would be a dream job and top it all off) but it's true life is what you make happen and you have to find just something positive no matter how small it is. Im happy that you have a new outlook and you have a gift for teaching run with it girl run with it.

  2. I've been a follower of your blog for awhile now and just realized we're almost neighbors. I'm in Maryland. I am going through a time in my life such as you describe in your post today. Many many family issues, deaths, problems, troubles. It's SO hard to create when stifled by things like this. I am looking forward to seeing what you have to say and what you are going to teach us. We can learn so much from others. Thank you Anna.

  3. I SO understand how you feel. I have chest pains as well from anxiety and work to deal with the stress. It is from the numerous health issues that family members deal with and I have to help with. I think my stress comes from having no control over how they take care of themselves (or NOT) and then having to deal with the results of their not taking care of themselves. Scrapbooking is a great stress reliever.

  4. Anna, I am so happy to hear that you feel that your life is taking on a more positive note. I know that when you are "in" that slump and everything is going wrong it just feels like things will never get better......but they do!!!! Just from reading your post,I can feel your positive energy!!! Keep your chin up chickie and I can't wait to read your next post!!!

  5. Well done you, for finding the strength to stand up and turn around and move forward with this wonderful positive attitude.

I look foward to reading more.

    Michelle :-)
